Accuracy and Conditioning of Surface-Source Based Near-Field to Far-Field Transformations

چکیده

The conditioning and accuracy of various inverse surface-source formulations are investigated. First, the normal systems equations discussed. Second, different implementations zero-field condition analyzed regarding their effect on solution accuracy, conditioning, source ambiguity. weighting Love-current side constraint is investigated in order to provide an accurate problem-independent methodology. transformation results for simulated measured near-field data show a comparable behavior most formulations. Advantages solutions found only diagnostic capabilities. Regardless this, Love computationally costly way influence iterative solver threshold, which more conveniently controlled with appropriate type equation. mostly influenced by choice reconstruction surface. A spherical Huygens surface leads best whereas tight, possibly convex hull around antenna under test.
